NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

sim racing system review

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series introduced a series of new rules for the series. These rules included no pit specialists and no extra tires. This rule change was necessary due to unsafe pit roads at certain tracks like Dacono (CO) and Tucson (AZ). Instead of pit stops the series decided to have a ten minute "halftime" break between races and allow tire changes for safety purposes.

Enfinger leads nascar race truck

Enfinger won the first Truck Series race at the 2022 playoffs. The young American passed a late-race aggressive Zane Smith and John Hunter Nemechek to take the lead. The win assures Enfinger a place in the second round postseason play. The other playoff drivers, Ben Rhodes and Stewart Friesen, finished in the top five. Tyler Ankrum, who finished in sixth place, also achieved his best finish this season. Layne Riggs and Ty Majeski also finished in the top ten.

Majeski had a lead of 1.3 seconds when Enfinger surpassed him halfway. The fight for the lead continued, with Majeski being caught by Enfinger in lapped trafic. Colby Howard spun around and hit Hocevar in Turn 1 on Lap 191. That led to the ninth caution. Enfinger stayed away from pit road and passed Nemechek during Turn 4. On Lap 107 Enfinger passed Nemechek et took the lead.

Nemechek retakes 2nd

John Hunter Nemechek wins the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at Darlington Raceway. However, there was some drama afterwards. A fan threw a beer can at him, but Nemechek was able to avoid being hit. It could have been much worse.

Nemechek started the night fourth, but was eventually able to climb to second place after a dive in Derek Kraus No. 19. He went on to win his 10th stage victory of the season, and earned a playoff point. He then began the second stage from the outside lane, battling with Creed and Chandler Smith to finish in third.

Sammy Smith and Chandler Smith fight in nascar's truck race.

Sammy Smith is currently the second-highest placed driver in the ARCA Menards Series race. He stood up to the NASCAR Truck Series challenger. Smith fought hard all the way through the race, even a few restarts. He crashed at Turns 3 & 4. He finished in second place. Smith has now finished seven races this season.

Smith won Stage Two of the Truck Series race last year at Nashville. He led 46 laps. Smith was 13th after a late race restart saw him being shuffled back.
