Memphis International Raceway can be found just ten miles from Millington. This 342-acre multi-purpose motorsports facility is located in Tennessee. It is a popular racing location in the Mid South region. There are many events at the facility, including drag racing, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASA/SCCA. In 2009, Jason Line won the NHRA nation event at the track. AutoZone, the major tire supplier, is also located nearby.

The Memphis International Raceway has been a staple in the Mid-South drag-racing industry since the mid-1980s. Its 1.9-mile road circuit is divided into two segments. Six out of eight turns are located on the east side. Each corner has 11 degrees of banking. The track's straights are 3500 feet long.

A 4,400-foot drag strip is also available at the facility. It is situated near Millington's Charles W Baker Airport and close to the Loosahatchie River. Memphis International Raceway hosts night racing, street racing, and Test-N-Tune sessions for street legal vehicles. It is also the home of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries, which is a weekly racer competition.

There is also a 1.6-mile track in the infield. The NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series also runs on the circuit. The World Series of Drag Racing presented Sunoco announced a partnership agreement with Coca-Cola, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. The facility also hosts an annual Nitro Jam racing event.

The Memphis International Raceway is a venue that will host many different racing events. It will be home to "Challenging Crate Late Models", "Sideways Street Stocks", "Challenging Wild Open Wheel Modifieds," "Awesome power of the Super Late Models", and "Awesome power of the 600cc Sprints."
