The NASCAR Cup Series will take a one-week break after its final two races this weekend. The series used to run 17 consecutive weekends previously. Fans can enjoy a one-week break to get their racing appetites satiated. The season will finish on the last Sunday in November. The 2021 Olympic break will be the next two-week long. While this is not an ideal situation, it will at least allow fans to get their racing fix before the next big break.

This weekend, NASCAR Cup Series will switch to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (1.058 mi). Next Gen cars will take part for the first-time at the track. Martin Truex, Jr. won the pole. The field is comprised of Martin Truex Jr. Chase Elliott Bubba Wallace, Kyle Busch, and Bubba Wallace. The top three are expected to fight it out for the championship.

The Ambetter 301 is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET and will air live on USA Network (1, 3, and 5 in Canada). Peacock offers a free trial and will also broadcast the race. The green flag should be waved at 3:18 p.m. ET and is expected for 301 laps.
