How To
How to corner fast
To be able to go faster, you must get your car out in front of others during a race. This means you have the responsibility of turning before any other driver. Doing this correctly will cause everyone to brake, as they won't know what is ahead. You will also avoid being in an accident with cars coming from all directions. So how do I corner quickly?
You must first understand where you are going. If you don’t know the direction you are heading, you will probably end up somewhere totally unexpected. That's why you need to plan carefully. Make a map of your route so you can see where you're heading at any given moment. It may seem like a lot of work but once you have a good idea of the route you are trying to take, you will be able to save yourself a lot later.
Next, figure out when your turn will be. It's best to begin after passing the first corner. Once you pass the first corner, then you will know exactly where to begin. The next step is to decide if you want to use the outside or inside lane.
If you are planning to travel in the inner lane, it is best to wait until you see no traffic. Then you'll be able to move quickly without worrying about hitting someone. But once you enter the inside lane, you must stay in it. Don't allow yourself to drift into the other lane. If you do so, you may hit someone moving slowly. Be aware that crossing the line that divides the two lanes will cause you to lose control of your vehicle, and you could be in danger of being hit by someone else.
Once you've chosen which lane you will use, you can choose where you want to turn. There are many ways to approach this problem. Some prefer to search for a gap between traffic. Others look for a gap in traffic. Others still look for a point at which the road curves round a hill or mountain. It doesn't really matter which route you take, just make sure you don’t block the whole road. Traffic jams will be created all over town if you do this.
After you have picked the spot you want to turn on, you should decide whether you will make a sharp or gradual left. A sharper turn is more difficult than a gradual. However, it takes longer and consumes more energy. On top of that, it makes it harder to steer your car properly. This is why most drivers prefer gradual turns.
You need to accelerate quickly enough to make it possible to escape the car in front. You will crash into the car's bumper if you accelerate too quickly. And accelerating too late will cause you to run off the road. You could lose control of the car and cause a crash. You need to gradually accelerate in order to avoid this. You should start slowly and increase your acceleration as you get closer to the edge.
After you finish cornering, it is important to immediately slow down. This is especially important in heavy traffic. Driving in heavy traffic can lead to someone being run over.
